Flowers currently blooming at house with my impression

I’d like to show you the flowers currently blooming at house.

↓This is called 'Shiran' in Japan which means a purple orchid. It is seen everywhere in Japan. Its scientific name is Bletilla striata and English name is Urn Orchid.  Shiran is a hardy and easy-to-grow orchid that can be enjoyed in a pot or in the garden.  When you hear the word "orchid", you may think that it is difficult to grow, but there is no other orchid that is as loved and familiar to so many people as this flower, although too exaggerated. 

↓This flower is called Oh-Naruko-Yuri in Japan named after the appearance resembling the Naruko.　Its scientific name is Polygonatum macranthum.　

 Naruko was originally a tool used to scare away harmful animals and birds from fields in the past. But I think its image is a little different from these flowers, though.

 It is known as one of the edible wild plants, and the young shoots, flowers, and rhizomes are edible. 

↓The inside of a long bell-shaped flower.　You can see the stamens and pistils.

↓This is called Nigella, using the scientific name directly in Japan. But it is said that the English name for Nigella is  "Love in a mist".  I think the English name is very romantic.

↓Its scientific name is Lapeirousia laxa．Although the plant is small and stems and leaves are thin, it produces relatively large flowers. I think its pretty appearance is attractive.

↓This is very similar to Showy evening primrose in English name which blooms from evening to night, but this flower has the unique feature of blooming from early morning at about 4 am, while inheriting the characteristics of the evening primrose. So, in Japan it's called Hiruzaki-Tsukimisou, if translated, primrose blooming all day long.

↓This is Rock isotoma, simply we call Isotoma in Japan and as for the origin of the name, Isotoma is a Greek word meaning "even" or "equal".  It is said that this name was given because the five petals of Isotoma are regularly and evenly separated.

↓This is Dahlberg daisy. It looks like small Chrysanthemum, as expected it belongs to the Asteraceae.
