A waterfall that's not widely known but worth visiting

Japan is an island country with many steep mountains, so there are also many waterfalls.　The three most famous waterfalls in Japan, generally known as the "Three Great Waterfalls," are as follows: 

Kegon Falls (Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture), Nachi Falls (Nachikatsuura Town, Wakayama Prefecture), Fukuroda Falls (Daigo Town, Ibaraki Prefecture)

However, there are many waterfalls that are not generally known to people outside of the area near the waterfall. I recently visited some of those waterfalls. It was Goshiki Falls, literally translated, five-colored waterfalls.  It's named that way because there are four other smaller waterfalls downstream from the main waterfall. However, on this visit, I was only able to see the main waterfall. This fall is located in the most northern part of Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture.

This waterfall is said to have a height difference of 20 meters, so it's not a huge waterfall, but you can see it from very close by.

The rock surface is extremely slippery, so it is dangerous to approach it.
