How can a bagworm move around a boysenberry branch?
I previously wrote a blog on a bagworm living in the boysenberry bush at my house.(posted on June 13th.)
I thought bagworms would stay still all the time, kept hanging under a boysenberry leaf stalk.
Here I will show you how a bagworm can move around a boysenberry branch. And also, how a bagworm handles a leaf stem or eats a leaf.
From my observation, the bagworm can move nimbly on a branch with 3 pairs of legs and cut a thin stalk with its mouth and stick it on the bag while hanging from a branch.
This bagworm had too much momentum, so the bag carried on its back was ended up pointing downwards. I think this bagworm feels a little cramped.
