The current landscape of the Metasequoia row of trees

About two months ago, I posted the blog on the Metasequoia Row of trees that lost all leaves during winter season. Today, I went to view the current landscape of the Metasequoia Row. Metasequoia trees are full of lushly green leaves and have changed beyond the previous scene. Incidentally, the Metasequoia Row is located at Makino in Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture.

This is a comparison between the current lanscape and two months ago.

Approximately 500 metasequoia trees have been planted over a 2.4 km length.
We can realize that this scenery goes on and on when driving a car.

Walking along the sidewalk is good exercise in the season of fresh green leaves . On the way, I met an older man who was drawing a picture.

Although there are many facilities including a cafe alongside the southern end of the Metasequoia Row, I stopped by at a cafe located approximately halfway. I could view the rural landscape through the window. The sign reads Hayama cafe.
