A mushroom called earthstar is still active

It was drizzling today. When I was walking along a forestry road, I noticed a small mushroom called earthstar was hanging on the slope beside the road.

So, I looked around to see if there was another one, and I found a large earthstar sitting neatly on the dead leaves.

I thought there weren't no longer any spores left in the spore bag, because it had already emerged out on the ground since last year.

But when I poked it with a dead branch, spores blew out vigorously like smoke. Actually, the spores were still there, weren't they?

In this attempt, the quantity of spores released was small.

Photos were taken on March, 25th.
