What is the birth flower for December 24th, Christmas Eve?

Today was a typical cloudy winter day. On my way to a cafe run by one of my classmates in junior high school, I saw something like a bird's nest attached to a tall tree whose leaves had completely fallen, so I got close to the tree and saw what it was. This is an evergreen plant, so it is really stand out, doesn't it?

It is a perennial plant called mistletoe. It is a semi-parasitic plant that grows on trees and bears small, pale-yellow fruits in winter.

Changing the subject, December 24th is Christmas Eve. The birth flower for December 24th is mistletoe and the language of this flower is "kiss me" . Although, these things are little known in Japan.

They say it comes from an old European legend. The story goes,  "You can kiss the girl standing under the mistletoe on Christmas Day.''
